Our story
About Wedding Fondant
Gear for the people who build the cake.
Every Wedding Has a Cake. Every Cake Has a Decorator.
The cake gets the spotlight, the photographs and the applause when it comes out. The decorator gets a sore back, cornstarch on every black shirt they own, and a very quiet drive to the venue with one hand hovering over the box.
Wedding Fondant is a shop for the people who do this work: home bakers taking their first wedding order, cake studios with a calendar full of Saturdays, and the friends and families who keep them in coffee.
Drawn at the Bench
Every design in the shop comes from life at the decorating bench: the fondant smoother, the dowels, the piping tips, the delivery-day checklist. They are drawn for this shop, in sugar-white, mint and gold, and printed by Printful only when you order, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing goes to waste.
From Springboro, Ohio
We are a small online shop in Springboro, between Dayton and Cincinnati. There is no storefront to visit, but we read every e-mail, and we would love to hear what you are baking this weekend.
